Farmworker Convention 2024
Join us for the Farmworker Convention on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 8am to 5pm!
In collaboration with Puente de la Costa Sur and Coastside Hope, farmworkers unite for a day filled with insightful workshops covering topics of pesticides, CPR and First Aid, Labor Rights, Immigration Law, Workplace Safety, and more.
This event, conducted in Spanish, features speakers and farmworker panels sharing their stories, challenges and dreams, along with priorities for their families. English interpretation will be available for the opening and closing sessions and panels, with the possibility of other languages upon request during timely registration.
We are expecting 200 farmworkers from Pescadero, Half Moon Bay, Davenport, Santa Cruz, and Watsonville. We welcome elected officials and partners to participate in this advocacy-filled day.
If you are a farmworker in Pescadero, Half Moon Bay, Davenport, Santa Cruz or Watsonville, this event is for you! This is a free event.

Our Impact
At Puente, we believe that self-sufficiency is essential for turning those dreams into reality. Every day, we walk side-by-side with our South Coast neighbors as they cross the bridge toward independence. By advocating for health, education, and community development, we elevate our communities to build confidence for themselves.
Because when people have equitable access to the local resources that support their dreams, they’re one step closer to realizing them.
